A recap of 2025 at Terra Jungle Estates

2025 was a big year for Terra Jungle Estates. When we purchased this land 17 years ago, we knew the way forward was slow and with intention. As the year comes to a close, we can reflect on the fact that much of the progress made was quiet but meaningful.Below are some of the key efforts that shaped 2025 at Terra Jungle Estates: 

1. Land clarity

   Property boundaries were outlined and confirmed with public record, reinforcing accuracy and confidence across all lots. Signage is currently being added to make each lot easy to navigate.
   

2. Stronger working network

   We expanded relationships and collaborated with skilled builders, craftspeople, designers, and community and culturally-focused professionals who understand how homes and land in Panama are utilized.
   

3. Deeper local presence

   Time on the ground and continued involvement within the surrounding community helped shape decisions in a practical way. Now with a full time presence in Torio, we are actively managing the project. The coast continues to grow in a positive direction, and we are excited to be a part of that evolution.
   

4. Sales and information readiness for 2026

   Internal systems and support teams are now in place and prepared for the next phase. We are excited to foster connections between the land and its future residents.
   

5. Infrastructure groundwork

   Planning and permitting moved forward with an emphasis on durability and seasonal preparedness, especially with regards to water management, which is essential in a tropical climate. This focused on community infrastructure and ease of access.
   

6. Land care by people who know it well

   Local land workers maintained the property throughout the wet season, managing growth and keeping the lots healthy, walkable, and respected through low impact landscape work. 
   

7. Internal alignment

   Key approvals were completed to support buyer flexibility while preserving the ethos of our development with regards to scale, density and guiding principles. These managing principles are accepted and followed by all partners, buyers, and critical workforce.
   

8. Lots made easier to experience

   Designated building areas were cleared to allow each property to be walked comfortably. Each lot now includes a defined construction zone, leaving the remainder of the land to be developed with a lighter touch, whether as trails, gardens, studios, or casitas.
   

9. Thoughtful future planning

   Early coordination with vendors across water, energy, construction, and design help ensure future residents will reside in well-considered systems.
   

10. Ending the year grounded

    With the fundamentals in place, the project closes the year focused, organized, and ready to move forward with intention.
